Amazon usually has a killer Echo Show deal for Black Friday, and the retailer hasn’t disappointed this year, serving up the just-refreshed Echo Show 5 for more than half off.
On sale now, the third-generation Echo Show 5 (which debuted just a few months ago) is going for a mere $39.99, a $50 price drop and a staggering 56% off.
One of our favorite smart displays, the Echo Show 5 is the perfect size for a bedside table, and the latest version fixes two nagging issues with the first and second generations: the poky performance and the iffy sound, which are remedied with a faster AZ2 Neural Edge processor and an all-new speaker system.
The third-gen Echo Show 5 also boasts a two-megapixel camera for video chat (a physical shutter lets you lock the lens for privacy), and with Alexa onboard, you can set alarms and timers, control your smart home devices, ask for morning weather and traffic reports, and tee up for favorite wake-up playlist.
That’s a lot of smart tech for the price, but the Echo Show 5’s slashed price tag won’t stick around for long, so don’t wait.
